Junk Journaling in the New Year

We all start the new year with a long list of goals that we are determined to achieve in the coming months. We hold onto those goals for about 6 to 8 weeks before we start putting them on the back burner. At least that is the history of my goal list for the past decade, if I am being honest. There is no one to blame for my failures but me. But I am okay with that. I am at peace with who I am. I finally realized that I really like me. No…. I LOVE ME!

I love that God gave me a gift to create and the love of creating. I love that I can make something new each day and it is completely different than what I made the previous day. I love that I was given so many talents by my Creator. God poured the love of music, the love of woodworking, the love of painting, sewing, crafting, and so many other things into my little brain and heart. I know He has a plan for me……… He didn’t give me the blueprint… So I will trust Him to guide me this year so that I create/achieve the goals my God wants me to with the people He wants me to do it with.

I will start with creating a new digital journal kit and then turn that kit into a junk journal I can use to write my list of wants, desires, and maybe even goals. And, if I can keep that up, I may even add entries throughout the year of the goals I did accomplish. I hope you and yours have a wonderful year full of love for God, country and family, many blessings from God, and the perfect peace that comes from knowing our Lord Jesus Christ.
